The band lineup includes Joe McFarlane on Vocals, rhythm, and guitar, Nic Holson on Lead guitar, Gemma Wickham on synth-bass and keys, and, Sean Priestly on drums. The band is poised to release their biggest-sounding single ever, a song titled “In The Way”. The song was released on 25th April, let’s dive into the details of this song.
The song opens with a burst of synth-rock-infused melody that is incredibly foot-tapping. The song is an unwavering expression of frustration and desire, portraying the conflict between aspiration and opposition. (“I’m ready to dive in”). The unnamed character in the song talks about getting into action and asks if his companion is going to jump in with him or going to stand in the way and slow him down. This song is a harsh truth in the sense that, sometimes we associate with people who are reluctant or afraid to do certain things or even advance in careers or relationships. It is painful but, we need to cut these people off to be able to advance in everything

Every line lands with perfection, mixing aggression and determination. With the assertion, ‘either you’re in or in the way,’ the song demands action, encouraging listeners to make a decision: join the fight or step aside.
This song was truly a fun one. The lyrics of the song are bold and catchy and the rhythm and melody are unbeatable. We applaud the band for this reality check through this song.
