ROSETTA WEST INSPIRES HOPE WITH THEIR NEW SONG “CIRCLE OF DOUBT”

No Comments Review

Greetings dearest gentle reader and music lovers, let’s welcome US artist Rosetta West back to our blog. Illinois-based Rosetta West is a blues rock group. World folk music and psychedelic influences are common in their songs, and their lyrical themes typically delve into spirituality and mysticism. I have had the pleasure to review two different music projects of theirs, the first is their album “Night’s Cross” and their single “Snake 25”, both songs, curated a delightful musical experience. They released a song called “Snake 25”. On 29 April, this band released a song called “Circle of Doubt”. Let’s talk more about the song

The song opens with some very nice bass guitar sounds, drum sounds, and some mouth percussion. The combination of this, excites you, even before the song begins

The song illustrates a character who tries his very best to get out of a negative situation that has become repetitive. The character is determined to break the cycle of darkness. The lyrics and music of “Circle of Doubt” work well together to evoke a sense of loss, doubt, and near-despair, but with a glimmer of hope lingering. (“gotta get out of the circle of doom”)

Featuring hypnotic and repetitive blues guitar riffs that suggest torpor and despair, as well as hallucinogenic soloing in the background, which may imply hopes for something higher and better. Founder and songwriter Joseph Demagore sings, and plays guitars, and keyboards, while Jason X plays bass and keyboards. Jason has been a co-producer and sound engineer since the Labyrinth album in early 2024. Joe and Jay both play percussion, as does drummer Nathan Q.

Rosetta West has released yet another successful song. The song is rich with excellent instrumentation and a profound message. The band has proven time and again that they are very talented and good at creating and performing. I implore you to listen to this amazing song and enjoy the musical experience like I did.
