Hello, hello to all. Today, we welcome PRIENCE to our blog. Seattle-based artist Prience (Prince) Moore is making waves with his latest original single, “No You And Me”. The single was released on 5th May. Let’s dissect this song together.
The song opens with a sweet melody and mouth percussion that is very captivating. This intro is the part of the song that will convince you to stay for the rest of the song.
Let’s talk about the theme of the song. The song introduces listeners to a character who is letting his partner know that their relationship would not have survived if not for the kids they had. Having children to save a relationship or a marriage has proven fatal and futile. The children you end up having will first bring you together as a team to raise them, but, as they grow older, the distance between the couple that had been momentarily fixed will even grow worse than before. For this reason, couples have been educated not to use children as glue to fix their marriage. Some couples also decide to separate after the child has reached a certain age, but in all honesty, it is morally wrong to bring a child into the world for such a purpose. In the song, the character admits that if their kids were not in the picture, there would be nothing between them.
With inspirations such as Babyface and George Michael, Prince’s music combines deep melodies and fascinating storytelling. Produced by the great Michael Miller of unlimited talents, this single highlights Prience’s lyrical prowess and Miller’s excellent musicality.
The recording process was a fantastic experience for Prience, who saw his lyrics come to life through music for the first time. The song features a blend of soulful melodies and captivating storytelling. This track takes listeners to a realm of romance and passion, providing a refreshing sound in today’s music environment.
With its genuine message and soul-stirring melodies, this single demonstrates Prience’s ability to create music that relates to the human experience. The song has a unique message that will really speak to you. This song is legendary because after a year and ten months, it is still entertaining and relevant. This song will never go out of style, and neither will Prience!
