Greetings to all my devoted readers and music fans everywhere. Let’s give a warm welcome to US artist Ari Joshua. Ari isn’t new to our blog; his band All’s Eyes’ music is music we are still blaring all the time. On 26th September, he released a song called “Scared of Eric”. Let me tell you more about the track.
The song begins with a slow, cinematic beginning that leads into a tightly wound beat. Joshua responds with angular leads and slinky riffs to Delvon Lamarr’s smoldering organ lines and Skerik’s fierce phrasing. Grant Schroff’s drumming underpins the performance, keeping the pocket taut yet allowing for risk-taking interaction.
This song is a tribute to the great Eric Walton. Eric “Skerik” Walton is an American saxophonist from Seattle, Washington. He is a pioneer in a performing style known as saxophonics, which he performs on the tenor and baritone saxophones, frequently using electronics and loops. The song was performed brilliantly by the artist.
When it comes to production, the song features Ari Joshua, Skerik, Delvon Lamarr, Grant Schroff, and Chris. It is a powerful new instrumental single produced in tribute to saxophone icon Skerik. This psychedelic boogaloo-funk jam features four of the Pacific Northwest’s most creative musicians: Ari Joshua on guitar, Delvon Lamarr on organ, Grant Schroff on drums, and Skerik himself on sax.
What a wonderful tribute. The song was just phenomenal. I enjoyed every second of it, and through this song, I got to know about the great Eric Walton and his music. Ari is a star and he is very talented!. I cannot wait to hear more of his music.
