Addison Rae Easterling is an American social media celebrity, singer, dancer, and actress. She was born on October 6, 2000. Rae became well-known in 2019 thanks to the TikTok video-sharing app. She is the fourth most followed person on the platform with over 88 million followers. She was listed by Forbes in August 2020 as the highest-paid TikTok star, and a year later, she was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list of social media influencers.

Parents Monty Lopez and Sheri Easterling reared Addison Rae Easterling[a] in Lafayette, Louisiana.[2] Enzo and Lucas Lopez, Rae’s two younger brothers, and Macye Neumeyer, an older half-sister who has two girls of her own, round out the family. Before getting remarried in 2017, Addison’s parents initially got divorced when she was a little kid and lived apart frequently throughout her childhood.[6] Monty has 5 million followers on TikTok, while Sheri has 14 million. Both parents have their own accounts there.[7]

 

Rae began dancing competitively at the age of six and has since competed all across the nation.[8] The dancer temporarily attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where she studied sports broadcasting in the autumn, but she left when she started to become well-known on TikTok. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue her TikTok career.[9] Addison Rae discusses her decision to go to Los Angeles in an interview with Elle magazine, stating that “a few folks in LA reached out to me, and I was like ‘I need to go. I must leave. So I had my parents’ complete backing.[10]

Along with her parents, she signed a contract with the talent agency WME in January 2020.[14] In the same month, Addison and her mother “Mama Knows Best” launched a weekly podcast that was only available on Spotify. The programme covered both their personal and professional lives.[7] Rae reintroduced this podcast in 2021 under the new title “That was Fun? With Sheri and Addison.[15] As the Chief Innovation Officer of Item Beauty, Addison has established her own cosmetics brand. She and Madeby Collective co-founded Item Beauty, and she is in charge of the majority of the company’s products.[13][16]

 

He’s All That, a remake of the 1999 adolescent comedy She’s All That, featured Rae. Zachary Siler, played in the original by Freddie Prinze Jr., served as the model for her part.[17][16] Though it was the most viewed movie of its week[18] when it was published on Netflix in August 2021, the movie received unfavourable reviews from critics.

 

Rae revealed on social media in October 2020 that she was dating TikToker Bryce Hall; however, the couple split up the following year.[23][24] Rae gave her $1 million prize money from winning the Stay At Home Slam, an all-star Mario Tennis Aces competition, to the non-profit organisation No Kid Hungry in January 2021.[25] It was revealed in April 2022 that Rae was dating Los Angeles-based producer and artist Omer Fedi.[26]
