Born on November 10, 1986, Joshua Michael Peck is an American comedian and actor. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Peck started his career as a child actor. From 2000 to 2002, he starred in an early episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom The Amanda Show. Peck gained notoriety for playing Josh Nichols, a character that he shared with Drake Bell on Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh from 2004 to 2007. He also starred in two of the show’s television movies, Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh (2008) and Drake & Josh Go Hollywood (2006)

EARLY AND EDUCATION

New York City is where Peck was born. He was raised by career coach Barbara Peck, his mother, and his grandmother. Peck’s birth was the consequence of an adulterous romance, and he has never officially revealed his father, a married coworker of his mother. Father Peck passed away in 2013, never having met him.Peck and his dad are both of Jewish descent.

Peck starred in Snow Day (2000), his feature debut, and continued to appear on The Amanda Show until the show’s 2002 finale.In In the October 5, 2001 theatrical release of Max Keeble’s Big Move, he costarred with Alex D. Linz and Zena Grey. He made a cameo appearance in the “Thy Will Be Done” episode of the NBC programme ER in 2001.

In another Nickelodeon sitcom, Drake & Josh, he was paired with Drake Bell’s character, Drake Parker. The show debuted in 2004 and made Peck well-known to younger viewers. Josh Nichols, played by Peck, was witty, intelligent, and well-organized, but he was also often tortured by Megan Parker (Miranda Cosgrove), Drake’s younger sister.

Peck portrayed Eddie, one of the two possum brothers, in the animated follow-up Ice Age: The Meltdown, which was released on March 31 of that year.
