Born on August 26, 1993, Lauren Keyana “Keke” Palmer (/ˈki\ki/ KEE-kee; a is an American singer and actor. She is well-known for portraying both character and lead parts in comedic and dramatic shows. She has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award and has won five NAACP Image Awards in addition to a Primetime Emmy. She was listed among the world’s most influential people in 2019 by Time magazine.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Born in Harvey, Illinois on August 26, 1993[, Lauren Keyana Palmer grew up in the neighbouring town of Robbins, Illinois.(7) She was raised in a Catholic family.[7, 8] Before settling into full-time careers, her parents, Lawrence “Larry” Palmer and Sharon Palmer, met in drama school and had both worked as professional performers. Her mother teaches high school students with autism, and her father works for a polyurethane manufacturer

CAREER

Her debut movie role was in 2004 with Barbershop 2: Back in Business. Palmer joined Atlantic Records as a record signing in 2005. She starred in the TV shows Second Time Around and ER that same year, and she was included in the movie Knights of the South Bronx.

Palmer made her screen debut in the 2006 movie Akeelah and the Bee, where she portrayed the title character, 11-year-old Akeelah, a bright kid from a low-income family who enters the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Palmer started playing the lead in the Nickelodeon series True Jackson, VP in 2008. The series’ theme tune was written and performed by Palmer as well. True Jackson, VP paid Palmer $20,000 a show, making her the fourth highest-paid child star in television history.Palmer gave the go-ahead for Jane Siskin’s July 2009 creation of a Walmart fashion line, which was modelled around True Jackson, VP.Reference  In the 2008 movie The Longshots, she portrayed the lead part as well.

Palmer played a “lovestruck stripper” in Lorene Scafaria’s criminal drama Hustlers, which debuted in September. As a member of the virtual ensemble True Damage—in which she provides the voice of Senna—she performed the song “Giants” during the 2019 World Championship of League of Legends. Along from rappers Duckwrth and Thutmose, the song also features vocalists Becky G and Soyeon.True Damage played the song live at the finals opening ceremony in November.

Palmer starred in the August 16, 2023, release of Usher’s new music video 

On December 3, 2022, Palmer revealed she was expecting her first child with partner Darius Jackson while presenting Saturday Night Live.2023 saw the birth of their son in February. The two broke up in August 2023 as a result of Palmer’s Instagram pictures during an Usher performance in Las Vegas.

NET WORTH

In 2023, Palmer’s net worth is estimated to be $7.5 million. But as the woman herself says, that’s not quite true. Palmer claims that even though her net worth has gone up and down, it is currently more than $7.5 million. That’s not too difficult to believe, considering that she recently starred in Jordan Peele’s 2022 film “Nope” and that she recently landed a new job alongside Usher.
