Sabrina AnnlynnBorn on May 11, 1999, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, to David and Elizabeth Carpenter, was raised in East Greenville. Sabrina was homeschooled and she has three elder sisters.At approximately ten years old, she started uploading videos of herself performing Adele and Christina Aguilera songs on YouTube.To feed her love of music, her father constructed a recording studio for her.In the singing competition The Next Miley Cyrus Project, hosted by Miley Cyrus, she came in third place in 2009.


In 2011, Carpenter made her television debut as a guest star on the drama series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on NBC.She sang “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” during her appearance on the Hunan Broadcasting System’s Gold Mango Audience Festival programme in China at around the same time.
