“CLOUDY DAY ”, is the album’s title track. This particular song features TheGhostJay. This song opens with a very catchy beat, that will get you in a great mood. The song talks about a character who perseveres, no matter what comes his way because he doesn’t want his dreams to fade away(“my dreams never fade away”). What more could I say about this song?, It is a bop and it is such a great way to open the album. This was so fantastic and a song I fell in love with instantly, I bet you that you will feel the same
Next up is “I JUST WANNA ROCK YOU”. The song opens in such a catchy way that it will excite you. This song features artists, 4amFLX and TheGhostJay. This song is about a character who is complimenting a girl he is trying to woo (“I wanna rock you girl”). The compliments are hot and the rap bits were on fire, what a bop this record serves to us on a silver platter. Seeing these three different verses for the artists, reminded me of the peak DJ Khaled songs that featured awesome artists
Next up is the song “PEACE OF MIND(HAD A LONG DAY”). This song opens with a recording of a woman who feels like her partner never wants to know how her day was. The song features TheGhostJay and Amanda Pleez. The song is about a person who is letting her partner know that he loves her but he had a long day and needs his peace of mind, he also asks her to be his peace. I identify strongly with these people because sometimes, we have such a long day that, even talking is a drag for us. We are not angry in that moment but we just want to sit quietly and unwind (“I had a long day, be my peace of mind”)
“DICK IN YA LIFE (TWERK)” is the title of the song that follows. This song, oh my goodness, wastes no time and tells you to start twerking. The song features artists Indii and Eli_lowkey. This song is very simple, it asks you to twerk and shake your ass. Did I attempt to twerk?, Yes, was it good?, Probably not but, now I have this song as an instruction manual and it has the right beat for this kind of dance. Twerk?, No need to tell me twice.
Next up is “KING CONQUEROR/MY PURPOSE. This song opens with a sharp and lively violin melody. The song features TheGhostJay, 4amFLX, Stephen Xavier, I.T. Official, and, Dolphin Uppercut Avenger. This song introduces us to a character who is a king, a boss, a man standing on business, taking care of business, and a king. Truth is, we could all use a dose of the confidence that this character has and I am so here for it. All the artists on this song definitely brought the heat that is going to sizzle us listeners
“B. MORE INTERLUDE” is the song that comes next. This song opens with a crazy and unexpected beat. This song features the artist B. MORE. Need inspiration and motivation to go harder?, This is the song for you. Feeling down, hopeless, and helpless?, This song is for you. (“You get back up”). The song encourages us to get back up, no matter what. This is another song that took me to a dimension of cool that I have never experienced and it will do the same to you
“JUST DO IT” is the next song on the album. The song starts with a catchy declaration with the mouth percussion that you will love. The song features artists Shae Moorer, Ryce, and Blind Eyez. The theme of the song is quite simple, just do it. The song encourages listeners to just go for it: when we want something, there is no guarantee that we are going to fail unless we actually try to do it. The performance was perfect and the lyrics were catchy and profound. This was an incredible song
“THE WEEKEND” is the name of the song that follows. The song opens with a hearty conversation between friends. The song features Jay Valeyo, blind eyez. The song talks about a character who just wants a girl for the weekend because he doesn’t want anything serious. This song was legendary and ridiculously good, this is a song I will not be forgetting anytime soon
The second-to-last song is titled “FALLING/FLYING”. This song opens with a mouth-watering beat and it features Troy Reign, Stephen Xavier, and, 4amFLX. The song talks about this character whom I honestly fell in love with because, according to the lyrics, he’s a real catch. The rap verse was smooth, original and so, so fun
The last song on this here record is “EYES IN THE SKY(KEEP ME GOING)”. This song starts with this emotive and soft beat and then, the amazing spoken word performance begins. The song features B.MORE, Blind Eyez, and, Brenda Robyn. The song encourages talking about making a plan or having a dream and keeping your eye on the prize and the dream you want to achieve (“Keep my eyes on the prize”). Between the spoken word and the rest of the song, this song is a full production and a full experience. This song closes the album
Wow, wow, wow, I didn’t know what you expect going in but, this album was just a standout and fantastic collection of songs. I don’t remember the last time I had so much fun. Props to the artists who were on these songs, they had so much love and passion in their performances and worked so well with the artist. All that is left to do here is to wait for more music from this artist because I know I will not be disappointed!
