I may be biased but, that song is a song that I can never forget. Ross really made an impact on me through that song. Ross comes back with a new song called “crazy ride”. Crazy Ride” is a love song for real life, the kind that accepts unkempt hair, late beginnings, and unexpected detours with glee. The song celebrates a kind of love that embraces flaws and quirks. The kind of love, that welcomes, participates, and even celebrates weirdness. The song was inspired by a candid morning with Ross with her wife, Elissa, when a slew of minor accidents served as the catalyst for a song about finding beauty in life’s turmoil.

Let’s talk production. From humorous lyrics about ill-fated off-road trips(that is a metaphor about life), to a chorus that feels like a deep breath, “Crazy Ride” portrays the cadence of a partnership that knows how to deal with unexpected challenges. The breezy, flowing instrumentation and Ross’ sweet voice make it equally appropriate for a back porch sunset as a Sunday drive.

We have talked about what the song is and it’s time to talk about why the song came about. “It was around 8:30 in the morning,” Ross recalls. “I was getting ready to work out as my wife was racing to get to work. Her curly hair was everywhere, and she remarked that it would be a chaotic day, therefore I should write a song about it. She initially laughed it off, but later that day she penned ‘Crazy Ride.’ It’s about those moments when everything seems out of control, but you look back and laugh. Those situations make life beautiful—and she realized that she wouldn’t want to go through them with anybody else except her. This song gives listeners a peek into Ross’ life and further immerses us into the mind space of how the song came about

This song is a beautiful celebration of pure love. I love that is for the long haul and because of that, it is not just a song. This song made me want to get my own person who will love me for me. Ross has hit another home run and has connected with us listeners, yet again. Ross is a talented artist and I can’t wait to hear more music from her
