Today we welcome BAB to our blog. Bradley Adam Band -BAB- is a member of Los Angeles’ thriving music scene in the United States. Rowan, the sound engineer and mixer who also contributed bass to the tracks, and Ian, a competent drummer whose persistent playing style gave flawless beats to the record, are among the primary contributors to their most recent project. This project is an 8 song album called ‘ BAB”, released on 31st August. With a blend of influences spanning from Deftones to Kurt Cobain and Eric Clapton, BAB strives to restore the essence of 1990s acoustic rock, providing a contemporary sound that resonates with both nostalgia and innovation. Let’s get into the details of this record.

“Elise” is the title track of the album. The song opens with a dreamy guitar melody before the vocal performance begins. The song is about a character called Elise. In the song, the character is in love with Elise. The song talks about the complexities of relationships and it’s effects. Musically, we get a wonderful vocal performance and a guitar solo that will make your jaw drop. This incredible song opens the album.

The second song on the record is called “Ghost”. This song also opens with a lovely guitar melody. In the song, the character tells his lover that, the reason she feels that he’s around her us because he is a ghost. The character not being there in person might be metaphorical or literal. So, it’s either they broke up or he is really dead. The vocal performance was outstanding and the instrumentation was awesome and wild especially the guitar solo toward the end of the song.

Next up is “Naughty and Nice”. The intro of the song is very exciting and catchy. The persona in the song is desperate to be with someone, no matter if it’s in a nice way or in a naughty way. He just wants to be with her, no matter what happens. The performance in this song is noteworthy . Every single note and lyric, was planned and executed perfectly. Hearing this song live, will be the opportunity of a lifetime.

The fourth song on the album is titled “Rain Rain Rain’. The Song opens with a very soft yet upbeat melody. The character in the song is asking and actively seeking the rain to wash away his dried up tears, dried blood and unclean hands. The persona just sees the rain as a way of cleansing himself . Musically, the vocal performance, mouth percussion and instrumentation just bands together and we get this refined and fantastic song.

“Same” is the title of the next song on this record. The song goes right into the vocal performance. The song talks about a persona who is caught in a cycle that he’s trying to get out of. Whether it’s romance or life, sometimes we feel like we keep going through something that we have been through before, this character is stuck a twisted déjà vu. Musically, the passion and desperation in the vocal performance, really let’s us know that this character is frustrated, tired and desperate. Capturing that aura, really let the song sunk in a little deeper and it was amazing.

Up next is “Sweet Sweet Nothing” . The song opens with a bright and cherry guitar melody. This song portrays the story of a character who loves his partner more than himself and that feeling is not reciprocated, but, he stays with her because he doesn’t want to be alone. Being with someone who doesn’t love you as much us you do them, is very painful, and I think anyone in a similar situation will feel seen by this song . Musically, we get a killer performance with mouth percussion and harmonies that you could only dream of till date. Six songs in, and you will still be having fun, listening to this album.

The seventh song on this album is called “She lies inside’. The intro of this song is something special. The song talks about a character who has realized that people don’t change. He seems to have given this liar a second chance but, he was gravely disappointed, as he realizes that she’s broken beyond repair. The vocal performance starts out kind of soft in the beginning but toward the end, it builds momentum and raw, which was very thrilling to experience.

The last song on the album is called “I Give all my love “. This song opens in a very exciting way because of the instrumentation. In the song, the character in the song asks what it means to give all your love to someone and then mentions a few things that suggests that you’re giving all your love like sacrifice. This song is a blast, right from the get go. I couldn’t resist the rhythm and I was soon up on my feet, jumping up and down . I assure you that this is a song you cannot resist dancing to. This song ends the album with a blast!

This album marks a key milestone in the band’s career. The album delves into issues of life, relationships, and optimism for the future, using a mix of raw emotions and reflection.
