Greetings to my dearest gentle readers and music fans. Let’s welcome Korean artist, SENIOR DUNCE. This artist released a two-song EP called “BESTIAL”. The EP was released on 2nd June. Let’s take a closer look at the EP

“Bestial” is the title track of this EP. This song opens with a gorgeous and exciting synth pop sound and beautiful mouth percussion. The words in the song express a message of accepting human limits and embracing our animalistic nature. It implies that deep down all of us are the same and we have been cruel in the past and have not abandoned our animal instincts. It encourages us to recognize and accept our shortcomings and not be too wounded. The character in the song was formerly a quiet person who resisted his inclinations as a child, limiting his artistic freedom. Now, at a later age, he has emerged as a new artist, wanting to be free of all sorts of oppression. The song is very thrilling and the vocal performance was perfect

The next and last song on the EP is called “Bestial (extended)”. With a more thumping beat, this song is very foot-tapping and way more upbeat. Listeners will take to the dancefloor but with irresistible charm and groovy beat.

Senior Dunce has 20+ years of expertise in the music industry, including roles as a sound designer, producer, lecturer, and club owner. In Korea, he is renowned as an eccentric figure with a penchant for kick drums and a unique appearance and style. His work questions conventional conventions and celebrates imperfection as a means of personal liberation. His new single, Bestial, is a groovy house dance track featuring California-based vocalist Cheshy. This short but sweet EP is a testament to this artist’s genuine love for music and experience with and around it. I loved this EP and I am looking forward to hearing more music from him
