Greetings to all my devoted readers and music fans. Let’s give a warm welcome to NICK CODY AND THE HEARTACHE. Nick Cody is a Leeds-based artist whose work has garnered positive praise from a number of successful and well-known artists, including Jon Gomm and Chris Catalyst of The Sisters of Mercy. He founded Green Eyed Records to promote “creativity through collaboration” among artists and has previously hosted Jon Gomm and Martin Simpson. His latest release is “The richest man in the world”, released on 4th July. Let’s talk more about the song
The song opens with ethereal mouth percussion and an electric guitar melody. The song talks about society nowadays. The song talks about how the world lacks compassion (“Praying for compassion in these darker days”). This theme is actually very true. Everyone is too wrapped up in their life to give a damn about others, but, that is no way to live
Nick is noted for creating incisive lyrics and providing social commentary on world events through songs with great melodies. This is a song that enters numerous genres, and the lyrics are brilliant. The mouth percussion was beautiful and so was the guitar solo
What a wonderful song. The mouth percussion was stunning and so was the instrumentation. I loved this song so much and, I can’t wait to hear more music from him.
