Akartis, an exceptional high school kid from Carson City, United States, has taken the music market by storm with his latest five-song Original EP, “How u Funny.” Akartis, the project’s lone contributor, demonstrates his ingenuity and variety in its release on June 8. Let’s take a closer look at this EP
The first song is called “Peeb max pod”. The song opens with these bold and bright synth sounds. When the beat drops, you are going to lose your shit, believe it or not. The song was so groovy and foot-tapping. I started bopping my head but, by the song’s completion, you would be full-on dancing or tapping your foot. This amazing song opens the EP
“What” is the title of the next song. This song is the meaning of experimental music. The sounds that were mixed together had no business being together but, the talented artist somehow made it all come together in Perfect unison
Next is a song titled “Bug interlude”. This song opens with a thumping beat before these beautiful shimmery sounds are mixed into it. The melody then becomes this dual sound of darkness and effervescent light. This song was truly a beauty to behold
Next is the namesake of the EP “How You Funny”. This song is a variety of different sounds that were put together. Each part of the song presents something fresh and new. I can guarantee you that this is a song that you have never heard before and it will amaze you like it did me.
The final song on the EP is “Bg Ag Ct”. This song opens with synthesized mouth percussion. When a beat is added to it, it takes on a new form, beguiling you with its irresistible charm. This song was very captivating and exciting to listen to. This song was the perfect choice to end the EP with a lot of grace and charm
This album was suck a compelling collection of songs. It is the artist’s decision to take a more light-hearted and whimsical approach with this EP and it really paid off. This album distinguishes him from his past slow and melancholy works, providing listeners with a fresh and lively selection of music. I for one enjoyed this project thoroughly and I am very excited to hear more music from this very talented young man
