Ladies, gentlemen, and music fans, let’s welcome Spanish artist Sehore. Sehore is a new musical project that debuted in 2025 with the album “Ladencia”. The album was recorded at Paco Loco Studio, mastered in California by Mario G. Alberni, and distributed by MusicHunters Records. His second album is titled” Husfikbur”. The 14-song album was released on 5th September. Let’s talk more about it.
“Bossa Velha (old)” is the album’s title track. Revives the rhythm of bossa nova, which has aged with time since its origins. The song was very foot-tapping and soothing. It is a song you could dance to and to cheer you up when you’re feeling down. This song effectively opens the album.
The song “Locura” opens with an awesome guitar and drum beat, which is very exciting and catchy. The song’s lines explore the augmented scale and its enclosing chords in a Repetitive manner. The song is also very foot-tapping. You might not understand what he’s singing, but trust me, you will be feeling the groove before the song ends.
“Charanga” is the title of the next song on the album. This song, like its heritage, is an ensemble piece and a musical genre characterized by flutes, violins, and percussion, associated with the danzon dance style. The song, defined by its own title, depicts a sexual scene; it’s so much more than that. I loved this song so much that I felt like ballroom dancing, even though I can’t dance to save my life. The guitar solo was just so breathtaking!. This song was so fun to enjoy, and listeners will love it as well.
Up next is the song “Plástico”. The song starts with sounds that seem like distorted guitar sounds. The song is composed around three chromatic notes in a sequence, and the lyrics are a protest over the Overuse of plastic and how it is damaging our environment. The repetition of the word “plastico” shows the urgency of the subject. The way the song was performed makes you take the subject matter seriously and makes the song that much more effective.
The next song is called “Poquito a poco”. The song opens with a soft and sweet melody. The song translates to little by little or gradually. This song was just the right tempo. It was not too upbeat and was not too somber. It was just right. By this time in an album, you might be feeling bored, but that is not the case for this album and this song.
“Bla bla (Cha Cha Cha)” is the next song on the record. The song opens with a very upbeat melody. The song features multiple scales crossing the chord, which is grounded in speech acts (J. R. Searle and J. L. Austin). What we get is a chant-like song that is very entertaining.
The track” Tientos, Tangos, and Siguiriya Funk” is explained by its own title—the first flamenco. This song was so breathtaking, the beat Style changes throughout this song. There are times when it’s like a ballad, but then the tempo picks up again. The song Style is pushed to the background and is hardly heard nowadays, so we appreciate the artist for reeducating us about it. This song was unlike anything I have ever heard.
“Escape Room” is the next song on this album. This song opens in an exciting and foot-tapping way. This is yet another song on this album you can’t resist dancing to. This is the type of song that will cheer you up and give you a positive feeling. That is something that every great song possesses.
The ninth song on this record is titled “Energìas renovables”. This song opens with a very catchy melody. The vocal performance is insanely good, and although you might not understand what he is saying, if you have an open mind and start from the rest of the song, you will regret it. He gives his all in this song, and I am convinced that there is a piece of his soul in this song.
“Mentiras” is the next song on the album. This song also opens with an upbeat melody, but it has a retro 80s funk and disco vibe to it. There is a small guitar solo, which was so incredible. The instrumentation on this song is something that needs to be studied because of how well it suited the vocals and the song as a whole.
Next up is “Armas”. This song opens with heavy rock instrumentation in the beginning. Right from the start, you can feel it in your bones that this song is going to be good. Then, when the vocals come in, your hunch comes true; the vocal performance and instrumentation were both very catchy and thrilling. This song might be the Spanish/rock song that you may not have heard before, but it impresses you. Don’t worry, you’re not alone. I was so charmed and mesmerized as well.
“Serendipia” is the song that follows. This song opens with a very alluring melody. The guitar work on this song is simply spectacular. I don’t have words to explain how this song really hit me. I felt like he was talking directly to me, even though I didn’t understand what he was saying. I loved the vocals so much because they took me on this musical ride that I didn’t even know I needed.
The second-to-last song on the album “Hipnosis”. This song opens with sounds of passing wind and some sort of chime-like sound. This day, JG has a dark and dramatic sound that is different than any of the other songs. As the song builds, it gets eerier and a little scary. Accompanied by these haunting sounds and poetic performance, this song could easily pass for the soundtrack of a horror movie. This song shows a whole other side of the artist and how he performs.
The last song on the album is called “ Lagrimita”. This song opens with a glacial and soft melody. This song is emotive and so heartwarming. The guitar work on this song brought me to tears because it was so beautiful. This song ties this album up ever so nicely and lovingly.
This album was a beautiful piece of music. Sehore did something so beautiful with this. A song that speaks to you even if you don’t understand. That’s the power of not just any music, good music, which this song is. I absolutely loved this album, and I will have it on my playlist and on repeat. Sehore is a superstar, and I await more music from him!
