A Chronology of Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s Romance

No Comments News

Story twist! The narrative of Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor’s love may not be flawless, but it looks to have a happy conclusion. After being married in 2000 and appearing in numerous films together, Stiller and Taylor declared their separation in 2017. They caused a stir two years later at the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards, grinning for pictures on the purple carpet. Additionally, the pair was seen to be “happy” and to never leave “each other’s sides,” an eyewitness at the scene told Us Weekly.

After disclosing their breakup in May 2017, the twosome attended numerous events together, including the Emmys. The Zoolander co-stars informed Us in a joint statement at the time, “With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate.” Raising our kids to be loving parents and the best of friends will always be our first goal. We respectfully request that the media now respect our right to privacy.

Stiller and Taylor met while filming a 1999 TV pilot called Heat Vision and Jack, which never made it to air. And for the Night at the Museum star, it was pretty much love at first sight. “When I met her, I pretty much thought, ‘That’s the person,’” Stiller told Entertainment Tonight in a 2007 interview. “It was like, ‘Wow, this is a great person. I love her.

In late September, the split pair was seen together two nights in a row. They were present at the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s 13th Annual Evening Before, which was held in conjunction with the Emmys on September 21. The pair was spotted together at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles the following night. An eyewitness told Us at the time that Taylor “was smiling and leaning forward and in towards” Stiller during the awards ceremony. The informant said that the couple was “happy” and that they never left “each other’s sides.”

The twosome cohosted the Project ALS 25th Anniversary gala celebration in New York City, where Stiller and Taylor made a rare red carpet appearance with their son Quinlin. Taylor joked with Entertainment Tonight that they meant to be a “team” on stage, saying, “We yin and we yang.”
