Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers, let’s give a warm welcome to Eleyet McConnell. On April 18, beloved husband and wife Americana duo Eleyet McConnell are taking over the music industry yet again with their heartfelt new tune, “Bed of Roses.” Let’s talk more about the song
This country-infused song starts with these gorgeous guitar sounds, which sound so beautiful and so very captivating. This moving ballad is one about love and resiliency in love and in life(“Just remember my heart is in your hands, I’m too tired to keep on begging”). This song encourages listeners to be strong especially when it comes to the complexities of romantic relationships and relationships in general
The song features Chris McConnell’s expressive guitar work influenced by the 1970s and Angie McConnell’s strong, blues-infused vocals. Together, they create a musical tapestry that is rich in passion, genuineness, and narrative that seems both timeless and urgent.
With influences ranging from Pink Floyd and The Doobie Brothers to Beth Hart and Fleetwood Mac, the duo once again demonstrates their exceptional ability to combine grace and roughness. They have made such a beautiful song that listeners will resonate with and fall in love with. I look forward to hearing more music from this duo because they make magic with their music
