Hello to all my lovely readers and lovers of music such as myself. Today, we are featuring UK artist LAPRICATY and her amazing release. This is not the first time I have come across this talented artist. She was featured on Don Boya’s single “Ride with Me”, and she brought the heat, her charisma, and her talent, the song is something I listen to on a daily basis. Her latest release is called “Chosen Generation”. The song was out on 14th August. Let me walk you through the details of the song
The song opens with a nice beat that is very exciting. Just from the intro, you can tell that this song is a wild ride that you will never forget
Let’s talk about the theme. This is A strong and empowering anthem for those striving to achieve. She wrote ‘Chosen Generation’ to remind people, especially the youth, that we all have a unique role in shaping the future. In the song, she talks about how we have been anointed to take charge of our future. She also talks about how success can come from asking God to bless you. Lapricaty invites you to ask and seek and you will find because you are indeed a chosen one, from a chosen generation
Now, let’s talk about production. The song “Chosen Generation” features Ghanaian superstar producer Ball J, and is a unique blend of Afrobeat, hip-hop, and soul, including passionate lyrics and hard-hitting sound. Ball J’s production approach seamlessly blends rhythm and richness, resulting in a song that exudes energy, character, and sincerity.
The collaboration with Sons Of Destiny Records, a label known for cultivating talented artists and producing cutting-edge music, highlights the song’s extraordinary quality and global appeal. Even the cover art for the song has meaning. The image shows Jesus on the Cross, with candles at his feet and a woman behind him. This cover art touches on the religious side of the song, reiterating that, because we are chosen, when we ask for guidance, we will get guidance from God
The single is a crucial milestone in Lapricaty’s musical career, demonstrating her progress as an artist and devotion to creating meaningful music to inspire future generations. This isn’t just a song, it’s a rally and a war cry. Lapricaty inspires a new generation of leaders to embrace their identity, resilience, and purpose with this song. Lapricaty keeps getting bigger and better with time. I look forward to hearing more of her music and going with her on this trail that she is blazing
