Ladies, gentlemen readers, and music fans let’s welcome back US artist Tony Frissore to our blog. Tony Frissore creates new, entertaining, funky house sounds by fusing tight beats with funky bass lines. This awesome artist astounded me with his albums, “black market mix”, “Quarantine Chronicles”, and a lovely single called “Know Yourself”. On 14th June, he released an incredible song called “The eagle has landed”. Allow me to tell you more about the song
When the song starts, you are met with these incredible synth pop sounds that, also have a catchy beat. Buckle up because it is time to enjoy the rest of the song.
For context, let me tell you the theme of his song “Just Fade Away”. The song was a reflection of the state of Tony when he retired from the military. “The eagle has landed”, is the sequel to his song “Just Fade Away,” which I just spoke about. Unlike “just fade away”, which was a reflection of his mental state as he was leaving the service. This song reflects on his frame of mind upon his military retirement, which was more free than sombre. Tony felt free that he had retired on his terms and not anyone else’s.
The song is a minimalist visual with maximum weight, much like the song itself. Even the Cover Art gives off Lunar Symbolism and Soulful Arrival that silhouetted lunar lander on the Moon’s horizon, and represents a man’s internal journey as he arrives in unfamiliar, beautiful terrain: civilian life, family, art, and freedom.
The title is inspired by the famous Apollo 11 quote from Neil Armstrong when he first stepped on the moon in 1969. Like the song, Neil said something to signify and trademark the fact that he stepped on the moon and said what he wanted, on his terms, without anything scripted or directed. The song alluded to the wider metaphor: not a retreat from individuality, but an embrace of new gravity, a life defined by creativity, presence, and groove rather than uniformity
Tony Fissore strikes again everybody!. He is an artist who churned something beautiful out of his service to his country. This isn’t just a song, it’s a symbol of independence, freedom, and owning every part of our lives. Tony had set an amazing precedent for us to follow and we are so grateful for that. They say lightning never strikes twice but, Tony is the exception to the rule. Now, I await more and more music from him!
