Dearest gentle reader and music fans, let’s welcome MAKANDUK. Makanduk, a self-taught music producer from Sydney, Australia, is passionate about sound production. On 10th October, he released a 3-song EP called “Ruined”. Let me take you through the EP.
The title track of the EP is called “Crazy”. The song opens with a thumping club beat. Believe me, if I tell you that I started dancing to this song before the beat dropped. In the song, the character acts in a way that makes her think that you might call crazy. But she welcomes the description and makes it her own. Musically, the beat in this song is so crazy, crazy good. I am not surprised that this is the title of the song because I was going crazy, too. Join me, let’s jump, dance around, and go crazy with this fabulous song!. This song was the perfect way to open the EP. By this song, I knew that I had to garner my strength and buckle up because I was in for one hell of a ride.
The second song on the EP is titled “Patience”. The song opens with an ethereal sound before the beat drops. This is a song where the character asks that her patience be tested. The best part of this song was the way it dipped and picked right back again. This song is perfect for spontaneous dance parties or just a song you use to relieve your stress by dancing to.
The third and final song on the EP is called “Reason”. The song opens with a powerful mouth percussion, followed by an exciting beat and a very captivating performance. This song continues in the same vein as the other two songs, but it is not the same. Yes, all three are upbeat, but this song has a certain avant-garde feeling to it. It is the type of song that shocks you and scratches your brain in a very satisfying way. This amazing song ends the EP.
“Ruined” shows Makanduk’s vast range of skills and ingenuity. From the bouncy groove of “Crazy” to the filthy bass face-inducing melody of “Reason,” each track provides a unique listening experience that is sure to fascinate fans. Makanduk, who records in his makeshift home studio, demonstrates that all you need is passion and a creative vision to create music that speaks to both the artist and the listener. I enjoyed this so much, and I look forward to hearing more of his music.
