Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers, let’s welcome Kamal Morales. Kamal Morales, a strong vocalist, songwriter, and compelling live performer based in New York City, is excited to introduce “SAUCY,” the first of two lead singles from his upcoming concept album, which will be released at the end of August.
The song initially opens with a soft melody but when the beat drops, it sounds so exciting. The song shows a character who seems to have fallen in love with a lady after dancing with her. (”two steps to the right then drop”). This character has been captivated by her dance and in their lockstep, he doesn’t want to let go of her and stop dancing. The flirting gets really good and steamy and the character in the song is hypnotized by this flirty dance or grind
This song is a daring, flirty first song from NYC-based singer Kamal Morales, a genre-bending vocalist known for fusing soul, R&B, and funk with rich narrative and an engaging stage presence. Listening to this song, the artist was giving off Chris brown R&B vibes and it sounded so beautiful. This music is catchy, confident, and full of personality, laying the groundwork for Kamal’s next five-senses-inspired concept album (due August 2025).
With its high energy, flawless arrangements, and obvious vocal force, “SAUCY” is a summer-ready song that introduces a new, powerful voice in R&B/pop. The song was so wonderful and exciting to listen to. I can’t wait to hear more music from this very talented artist
