This guy creates with the brilliant notion that great music speaks the language of universality without any difficulty and embraces creativity from brilliant minds irrespective of where they are from. He dropped his latest EP named ‘Level Up’ on February 7th. Let me give you some details regarding this amazing album.
The song opens with a sudden, singular bang of the underground bass drum, immediately followed by a series of high-speed modules of synth that bounce around left and right channels. “Level Up” builds its base, with the storyline getting right into the grind it takes to break a ceiling and redefine your own limits. It shows the struggle of not being content with stagnation as the world tries to nail you down and turn ambition into a daily discipline. Our character refuses to stay still or quiet because he knows he’s extraordinary. As far as the music goes, the song uses a very fast, almost staccato vocal flow that fits perfectly into the groove but never overdoes it. In production terms, it strikes a balance between precision of electronic music and earthy beats that hit like a shot of adrenaline and give the listener impenetrable armor for any challenge.
As the song moves to the second stage, “Shengji” commences with a clear metallic ring that fades to a pounding, club-based loop characterized by a powerful heart beating at low sub-frequency levels. In terms of the lyrics, the music broadens the idea of elevation to a general expression of sovereignty through the realization of how ambition and self-respect overcome any boundary that may exist. Musically, it features a sophisticated and fast-paced delivery of vocals set to a rhythmic beat. The instrumental part includes digital bell sounds in the background against a steady bassline that vibrates on the floor. It is very captivating for the listener, such that it invokes an instant physical response.
With the texture turning to a warm, sunny space, “Subir De Nivel (ESP)” starts with a chopped and echoed vocal snippet that stutters rhythmically until it explodes in a Latin-influenced rhythm section accompanied by clear handclaps and tropical bass thumps. The theme revolves around the idea of self-leveling coupled with supreme magnetism and romantic ambition in an artist who is totally unapproachable in their domain. The vocal delivery is slick, silky, and saturated with charismatic warmth, giving a stunning contrast to the relentless electronic beat in the background. It is as if you were hit by a hypnotizing late-night anthem that delivers powerful motivational packaging mixed with catchy pop music.
Continuing the globe-trotting, “Subir De Nível (PT)” sets up its soundscape through a dense and brooding mass of swelling analog pads, which slowly congeal into a syncopated and bouncy groove powered by a rubbery synth bass. Lyrically speaking, it further emphasizes the harsh truths of working hard, staying disciplined, and not compromising one’s vision to make things easy. Musically, the vocals use a sharp and conversational style that clings to the tiny pockets of the beat with laser-sharp accuracy, set against an expansive stereo soundscape filled with bubbling electronics. It leaves the listener energized and focused, demonstrating once more that the theme of self-improvement carries its harsh edge in any language.
It sets off its final statement in a way that “Level Up” erupts into an opening distorted electronic sound, accompanied by a frenzied broken-beat drum sequence that makes one feel like he has just crossed a digital finishing line. In terms of lyrics, this song acts as a final thesis statement of the whole album by giving a bold statement of legacy and complete creative freedom. As far as music is concerned, it is the song that uses the most experimental and aggressive instruments on the EP, with industrial percussion elements underlining the dominant vocals.
