Larry, a former Pathfinder, imbued the song with a message of hope and deliverance, hoping to connect with young people through easy melody and emotional depth. The song introduces listeners to a character who is hopeful for the future because he knows that there’s a plan for his life no matter what (“according to his well, I believe the promise”)

Larry’s creative approach was influenced by his lifelong love of music and the encouragement of his family, who assembled a choir for the recording to add a sense of unity and warmth. He recorded in his own Kreation Records Studio in Loma Linda, California, which provided an intimate setting for experimentation and genuine expression.
