They are collaborating with producers in Mexico, such as SAGA, BrunOG (a LaIn Grammy nomination), and Shantra (the most recent album by Santa Fe Klan). This year, they have a few more songs coming out, such as “Dopeman” featuring Ghanaian Afrobeat artist Camidoh, and an entire album including Tim Skold, producer, and guitarist for Marilyn Manson, which was commissioned by Metropolis Records. However today we are not focusing on Love Ghost’s accolades but on his latest album titled “The Speed of Dreaming “ which was released on the 23rd of February. The EP which is made up of four songs is a Cascade of emotions you want to be a part of, let’s get into the details of the EP.

We are headed into the EP with the beautiful “Be not afraid “. This techno-pop song is about a song about infatuated love and all its attached feelings. It was produced by Alex Pedrero in Mexico and featured a music video created by the well-known Latvian artist Iastitraia using AI. The song is very formidable and entertaining and has a tender message. Its elements bind together to produce this gorgeous piece of music that listeners will thoroughly enjoy while also preparing you for greatness ahead!

Next on the EP is “ESPEJO”. The song is an Emo Alt Rock song with lyrics in both Spanish and English with influences from Acoustic Spanish Guitar. El Santi of Mexico and Love Ghost of Los Angeles collaborated on the song. Alex Pedrero from Mexico produced “ESPEJO”. The title of the song translates to mirror in English however the song talks about paranoia. The song allows you to connect with the artist even when you don’t under the lyrics, an awesome quality for a song to have!

“Luna Azul” is the third song on the EP. In the song, the persona assures his love interest that he is what she needs even though she doesn’t believe him. It is An Emo-Pop-Rock tune featuring Spanish guitar elements. Co-produced by BrunOG and Monde in Mexico, the song is a Love Ghost collaboration with Helian and MONDE. Although some parts of the song are in Spanish you are still enchanted by the tick elements of the song and the fascinating vocal performances in the song and it gives you this otherworldly feeling.

The EP ends with the fantastic “Wallflower “. The song talks about the inner struggles of humans, the persona wishes he could say how he feels but views that as a luxury or privilege. The tone of the song is that of despair because of heartbreak and the inability to move on from a lost love but you are distracted by the contemporary synth-infused acoustic ballad sounds Polish musician Michal Toczek created the AI music video for the song, which was produced by Alex Pedrero of Mexico.

Does Love Ghost have an impressive resume? Yes, they do! Do they live up to these amazing accolades? Without a single doubt! This EP was a beautiful and unique piece and the Spanish elements set it apart from anything I’ve heard. Each song was crafted meticulously and had a message or story for its listeners. If it were a book it would have been a real page-turner. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Love Ghost.
