“Show Off,” produced and written by OH.Tae, is a true representation of a Friday night out. This is the first of many singles to come when OH.Tae’s sound was completely revamped, exhibiting her shamelessly confident artistic flow. OH.Tae declares “This is for those who told me I couldn’t stretch my artistic boundaries because a singer ‘sort of rapping’ made them uncomfortable. I expect to see you at the top, but in the meantime, keep an eye on me.”
OH.Tae was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and is a singer, composer, and producer. She began singing in fourth grade, joining the school chorus and penning poems in her first diary on and off cadence. OH.Tae began singing renditions of well-known songs on YouTube as Etasia, her legal first name, in 2014 and 2015. The more notice she received for her distinct vocal style, she began to take herself and her music more seriously in 2018. She began performing and sharing original songs on SoundCloud in February of this year.

Her debut performance was at Project Forward and 5’oclock Productions’ Kinyo and Danielle’s The Creator Awards. She was able to meet Xavien Mac, the founder of TLE (Trill Links Entertainment), and Prince Ivy, a TLE artist, through them. OH.Tae was a featured performer on several of the trio’s gigs. She teamed up with long-time friend Drigo Felixx, the CEO/founder of Blackshxxp Productions, and became affiliated with the Blackshxxp collective a few months later. She took a break from performing in order to record her debut EP. She resumed performing in February 2020, debuting “High Standards (feat. Xavien Mac)” and “Need” at Breathe Lounge.
