Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers. Let’s give a warm welcome to US artist RICE. On 26th April, he released a song and its video called “New Jack”. Let’s talk about the song And its video
The song opens with a gentle and unforgettable melody before the beat drops. The video, on the other hand, opens with RICE on a phone call
The video goes from RICE on a couch talking on the phone, then pictures of a lot of money. Rice begins his rap performance, then him on the phone talking about how successful he is. The person on the phone seems like he wants to book RICE for a show. He tells this person that his price has gone up. He’s on a level that he only dreamed about, doing things he thought he would never do and hanging out with people whom he never thought he would hang out with. Aside from the conversation, RICE emphasizes the importance of knowing your worth and knowing when you level up in life. The catchy rap and chorus “Brand new jack, who this”, will get you singing along to the song. The video ends with RICE just flaunting his wealth and status as a superstar
This song was a visual delight and masterpiece. The video was sponsored by Mass Culture, it was filmed at Trillquarters, filmed and directed by Canon Lawless. The song and performance were by RICE, produced by Madd Maxx, co-engineered by Josh Schuback and Mackey, and recorded at Phoenix Studios
This song is entertaining yet profound. It reminds us that when we level up in life, we have the right to control what we are given or what we can give and always to know our worth no matter what. I applaud RICE for this reminder and this musical masterpiece. He is very talented and I can’t wait to hear more music from him
