She’s Mine Premiered Latest Single “Out My Shell”

She’s Mine is an indie alt/pop artist based in Manchester. Through honest songwriting and relatable themes, the born and bred British artist creates a fresh and intoxicating sound, emitting an innocence and dreaminess that whisks you away to a fantasy land. Having her previous release caught the attention of BBC Radio Manchester and BBC Introducing in Scotland, her time alone during the pandemic allowed the artist to dive into herself as well as her music and uncovered her love for taking creative control over her sound. She really wants her next songs to hit very hard. She’s Mine’s latest track emits a spunky, fun, laidback and feel good vibe that keeps pulling you back for more.

The bubbly new single “Out My Shell” glistens with punchy production and playful lyricism. Loosely disguised by a lighthearted, sugary soundscape, the track reaffirms self-trust and trying to fit in, with the liberating theme of feeling like an outcast, she wrote the verses as a narrative about being an alien trying to fit into life on Earth. Showcasing her vivacious personality, the song is some of She’s Mine’s best work yet, drawing parallels to artists like Doja Cat and FKA Twigs.

Keara Koterwas, stage-named ‘She’s Mine’ is a 20 year old American-born, British Singer, Songwriter and Musician. Veering from Hip-Hop, to sauntering pop avant-gardism, Koterwas is an artist unafraid of pushing boundaries. At the heart of She’s Mine lies Koterwas’ explorations into vocal range and tone. With an ability to swing between porcelain tenderness and controlled gothic grandeur, she commands songs like ‘The Devil’s Soldiers’ and ‘Spine’ with the confidence of Bat for Lashes, FKA Twigs and Kate Bush.
