Hello, hello, let’s welcome MIKEY LA LUNA to our blog. We celebrate all genres of music on this blog and today, the “Embrace the Light” EP is the focus of our blog. “Embrace the Light”, is a seven-song EP by Mikey La Luna. This debut EP, combines tribal electronica, spiritual mantras, and mesmerizing synths, like a moonlit dancing ceremony. Let’s discuss it further

The title track of this EP is called “Embrace the light”. The song opens with a really funky beat that is captivating. The song talks about the importance of the mind and soul. It tells us to open up and embrace the light so that our minds and souls will no longer be blind. This is Mikey’s mantra and it kicks off the adventure with a disco-rooted groove, the ancestral pulse of house, and is wrapped in a rich, meaty bassline and soaring melodic intensity. It’s an illuminating invitation to shine. This was the perfect opening number for the EP

Ho’oponopono” is the title of the next song. The song opens with a catchy beat that, you can’t resist and, which you will definitely dance to. The song is a traditional Hawaiian mantra, which is normally uttered in calm meditation, erupts in a furious tribal-indie explosion. The song talks about loving, forgiving, and thanking. Electric guitar and spellbinding Mediterranean strings express a healing born of grief, encouraging us to forgive ourselves and one another.

Next up is “om namah shivaya”. The song opens with a throbbing, foot-tapping beat. It is A hypnotic Hindu chant that weaves over a tempest of tribal techno beats and trippy Kitar chords. A sound ceremony that combines ancient vibrations with modern energy.

Next up is “now it’s time to find the faith”. The song opens with an exciting beat that you will enjoy. The song urges us to break away from religion and find a faith that will unify us instead of tearing us apart. Musically, A mesmerizing tribal indie techno music laced with shamanic fire and murmured protest. Shaya Noa Myers delivers a brilliant voice and chants.

The next song is titled “mitakuye oyasin (pacha mama)”. The song has a very thrilling intro guaranteed to make you curious. It is a sacred Lakota prayer that says, “We are all related.” Musically, this tribal anthem combines shamanic vocals, earthy percussion, and native devotion to create a rhythmic reminder that we are all children of the same Earth.

The next song is “ho’ oponopono(dub mix)”. This song is the track version of this song without the vocal performance. You get a version of this song that, you can really dance to

The next song on the EP is called “Om Namah Shivaya (dub mix)”. This song is also the track version of the same song. This is yet another song you can dance to

Mikey is a live ritualist as well as a producer. Each song is a portal – sometimes deep, sometimes joyous, but always honest. Consider the intersection between techno and temple, as well as desert and disco. If you’re looking for something raw, melodious, and anchored in genuine intention, I’d implore you to listen. This isn’t just music; it’s medication on a kick drum. I am very excited to hear more music from Mike
