And it is that very magic which makes Carl’s achievement so remarkable; while he pays tribute to those whose belief inspired him to reach such artistic heights, the heart of “Only You” transcends the limitations of music altogether and becomes an integral part of our very existence and survival as human beings. What Carl has written is that precious piece of music that so rarely surfaces from among the myriad songs we hear today, the piece that resonates with you as much as it moves you.
