Greetings, dear music lovers! Today, we’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on LA NEED MACHINE, Seattle’s freshest force in Rock and Roll. This dynamic trio is turning heads with their melodic Indie Rock sound, thoughtful lyrics, and an energy that’s impossible to ignore. The band features Al Dams on guitars and vocals, Elise Dahlberg on keyboards and vocals, and Brian Hassler on guitar and vocals—a lineup that expertly blends raw power with melodic finesse. On October 24th, the band dropped their latest single, “Rock And Roll Show”, a track that captures their infectious energy and musical craftsmanship. Let’s dive into what makes this song a must-listen
The song bursts to life with a bright, untamed energy, immediately grabbing your attention. From the very first notes, the melody swings with infectious momentum, and you can pick out hints of every instrument that will make an appearance throughout the track. It’s a rich, layered introduction that instantly signals you’re listening to something destined to become a classic.
Thematically, “Rock and Roll Show” is a heartfelt ode to the male singer’s life partner—but with a clever twist. In this song, rock and roll itself becomes a metaphor for love, capturing the same passion, devotion, and companionship one finds in a true relationship. The lyrics tell the story of a character who met the love of his life at a rock and roll show—a notion so irresistible that if real-life romance worked like that, sign me up! For LA NEED MACHINE, rock and roll has been a constant through life’s highs and lows, standing by them as faithfully as any life partner ever could.
La Need Machine’s new single, “Rock and Roll Show,” perfectly showcases the band’s knack for clever, catchy songwriting and their deep-seated love for Rock and Roll. With signature harmonies, inventive lyrics, and propulsive rhythms, the trio creates a sound that’s both infectiously energetic and brilliantly crafted, proving once again why they’re one of Seattle’s most exciting new acts.
“Rock and Roll Show” grabs your attention from the first beat and doesn’t let go, delivering that stirring thrill that only comes from a masterful combination of rhythm, timing, and melody. The storytelling is irresistible, perfectly timed for 2025 and 2026, as Rock and Roll rides its triumphant comeback—proving that La Need Machine knows exactly how to capture the spirit of the era while keeping their sound fresh and unforgettable.
What sets LA NEED MACHINE apart is their masterful use of harmonies, pairing male and female vocals to striking effect, alongside unforgettable guitar hooks and rich instrumental layers. Strings, keyboards, and even the occasional saxophone are woven into their sound, adding depth and texture that keep listeners hooked from start to finish. I am excited to hear what they release next!
