These interviews’ audio recordings, which were selected as part of Blade’s study of the American Folklife Center’s Chicago Ethnic Arts Project Collection

This album is a celebration of black history and the quality of music that we are capable of making. The original makers of most genres of music are black because music plays a big role in our culture and helps us to honor our predecessors and teach the young about our way of life and how far we have come and this album is a clear and perfect example of it. Blade has done something spectacular and I can’t wait to hear more of his music
