For nearly four decades now, Lazzaro has been perfecting his craft to the point where it culminates in The Lazz, which is one of the most sophisticated projects ever created by the composer. However, what sets The Lazz apart is not just Lazzaro’s talent for crafting musical notes but the unique combination of talents possessed by the creator of this project. In fact, in addition to being a gifted musician, Lazzaro is also a trained artist who has worked as a 3D Digital Artist in the gaming industry for over ten years. The project is also designed as a Hybrid-Human production facility, an exquisite combination of art where Lazzaro individually writes, composes and masters all melodies. Though, despite the live guitar and bass parts being entirely performed by humans, it perfectly fits with the altered system of generation of voices, drum and atmosphere sounds. Such a blend of human and machine art was created not only for aesthetic pleasure but for the purposeful investigation of Jungian concepts of the Shadow and the Persona. It is also worth mentioning that the author’s idea goes beyond audio recording and encompasses the whole multi-media performance. In his projects, Lazzaro writes, directs and produces the official music videos.
