Greetings to all my lovely readers and music enthusiasts. Today we highlight the work of Swiss artist Saniel Woods. On 11th January, he released a twelve-song album called “Techno Village”. Let’s talk more about it
The first song is called “Black Sea”. The song opens with a pulsating synth beat this is very unique and inviting. The character in this song declares that she is there to party and I must say that this song made me want to party too. The track’s complexity grows like a lotus blossoming, with each petal exposing fresh spectral resonance and layers of percussion texture. This beautiful song opens the album
Next up is the song “Discovery”. This song features the artist Sweet Pea. This song opens with a pulsating rhythm. The laughter is the track is further proof that this song is an enjoyable and delightful song. It is a track that is appropriate for both the dance floor and introspective excursions, whether hiking across landscapes, lifting weights, or driving through neon-lit highways at night. This is because it combines textured dynamism with futuristic perfection. The adlibs and the structure of the song make it very easy to love
“Shooting Star” is the title of the next song. The song opens with a very exciting beat. There is a compelling contrast between calm and mayhem created by the meditative loops and the abrupt explosion of gunshot recordings that gives listeners the full fantasy and immersion into the music
Next up is the song “Neptune”. This song also opens with a very captivating beat. This song is upbeat yet calm and gives you this galactic feel. This song makes you feel like you were traveling through the cosmos with its transformative allure
“Strange Planet” is up next. The best of this song is different yet equally thrilling. The sound keeps building and building for listeners to get into the song’s rhythm. This song feels like the point in every movie where the character is exploring an uncharted place
“The Army Who Goes to Party” is the song that follows. Here, the album delves farther into progressive techno, fusing elements of glitch-pop with an unrelenting drive. This song is a breath of fresh air that listeners will take entirely
The seventh song is called “Mario”. This song features the artist Spacepea. Parts of the song were named after the beloved game and now movie character Mario. The song features the sound Mario makes when he jumps from Brick to brick or from pipe tunnel to pipe tunnel, what a cool way to inculcate this beloved pop culture icon into music, and it was done really tastefully
Up next is “hot drops”. This song features artist Sandro. The song opens with a beat that sounds like a ticking clock with ethereal sounds in the background. It feels more like a real, breathing thing than a track because of the production’s layers of fine detail. It’s a kinetic playground with sound in a constant state of becoming, a captivating imitation of movement.
“Towelie” is the title is the next song. This song also features SpacePea. The name Towelie is the name of a recurring cartoon character in South Park. Although Towelie is literally a towel who can speak and walk, he sometimes gets into situations that are uncomfortable like getting high. This song is. Very exciting and the ode to Towelie was very exciting and I’m sure Towelie sends his appreciation
Up next is “Roger’s concentration”. This song also features Spacepea. This song is an exciting and captivating one. The song seems to be talking about a character named Roger. The auditory maze created by pulsing rhythms, slurping sounds, and hallucinogenic transitions compels the listener to let go of expectations and give in to the bizarre. It’s a sound puzzle with no obvious answer that is both entertaining and intellectual.
Up next is “fear and loathing”. The song opens with a German recording. The track is both provocative and introspective due to the strong melodic synth’s lovely contrast with the disorganized spoken portions that are very avant-garde and seamless
The last song on the album is called “Limitless”. This song really makes you feel like you’re in a never-ending loop of music that is dangerously good. As closing songs go, this song hit the nail right on the head.
This album was an eye-opener and a wonder. The references in the song were just so good. You don’t often hear instrumental music with pop culture references so this is revolutionary and genius. This album is a fresh approach to a new wave of amazing music. I am humbled by Woods’ musical talent and his ability to be a team player with other artists. I can’t wait to hear more music from him
