And now, with the release of another masterpiece titled “Half Of Me Still With You”, he shows us once again that he hasn’t peaked yet. “Slowly Ready” remains firmly planted in my mind like an unwelcome tenant, and here comes this guy again, stealing our hearts with yet another creation. The latest release of Guyver7x3, “Half Of Me Still With You”, released on April 26, 2026, is a revelation.
It begins with the most painfully vulnerable, achingly slow piano riff, reminiscent of frosty winter breath, which is then followed by the singer’s performance that is so exquisitely fragile, raw, and intimate that it will almost make you cry in its first verse. This one magnificent introduction scene alone serves as an excellent example of the whole emotional ride you are about to get, with the intimate and intense vibe staying with you for long afterwards.
The weight of this truth lies at the heart of the song, emerging from the harsh truth of having to force yourself to walk forward, only to get a sudden realization that there is something essential about yourself which still belongs to what you have experienced together. And it is this eerie, spectral feeling of struggling to survive in the present moment with a fragmented self, as the other half obstinately refuses to move away from a love, a memory, and a past version of oneself that you cannot seem to leave behind. Let us face it, we all have been through that heartbreaking experience when our relationships are brutally torn apart from under our feet. Even if somehow it was a decision made by mutual consent on paper, here is a person who used to make your world yesterday but has become an emptiness now. Your brain gets rewired, and you lose all semblance of the routine life, ending up with that hollow, frightening feeling that they have just carried a part of you with them, without which you cannot exist- the part that you gave them with all of your heart simply because you love them. I appreciate the artist for being vulnerable with us and making those of us who have ever felt this way feel less alone and feel seen.

That is what truly great music can do: it opens up a limitless, breathtaking world of possibility for us who have suffered and have had enough of suffering. So this must be our cry from the bottom of our souls to the maestro himself: when, WHEN, will we get to experience another masterpiece on this amazing ride?!
