J.Juice was raised by his mother in the Dominican Republic and New York City as the son of immigrants from the Dominican Republic. After joining the service, he was granted a G.I. Bill, which he used to enrol in Columbia University and declare a major in marketing.
‘Poppin,’ the latest single from bombastic rapper and producer J.Juice, is a high-energy rap song with powerful trap beats and a swaggering flow over top. J.Juice’s staccato delivery technique emphasises each beat, giving the vocals and supporting instrumentals a sense of contrast and giving each a stronger sense of definition.
J.Juice, who is originally from The Bronx, exudes the same levels of assurance as other rappers from his community, such as Fat Joe and Big Pun. A celebration of J.Juice’s success in the music industry among other things, “Poppin” takes the listener on a whirling tour through his list of skills and accomplishments.
J.Juice (also known as Johnny B Good) aims to walk the line between inspiration and fun, and several of his other releases, such “Lingo” and “Shake A Leg,” are beginning to gain a large internet following. It appears that “Poppin” will continue the musical path that J.Juice has begun to lay out for himself and features frequent musical partner Big Krux.
