The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC on Wednesday featured an announcement from Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell that they will both be participating in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They would be riding in a Good Burger mobile. The two comedians were on the show to promote Good Burger 2, which is currently available for streaming on Paramount+.
Jimmy pointed out that the Good Burger idea started as just a sketch on the Nickelodeon comedy show All That between Kenan, 45, and Kel, 45.
Kel also shared that two of the children in the sequel are his kids Honor and Wisdom. Jimmy asked if his children had seen themselves in the movie and Kel said they did.
‘We were at the premiere watching it, and they couldn’t wait, we were 10 minutes in and my daughter turns to me and she’s like ”when’s my part?”,’ Kel said. ‘You’re doing good daddy but I want to see my part.’
‘They did so great,’ Kel said.
‘Its super funny,’ Jimmy said of their movie that is a sequel to the 1997 film Good Burger that they both starred in.
‘Good Burger 2 is streaming now on Paramount Plus,’ Jimmy said ‘It is super funny. Watch it with the whole family.’
Kenan, who reprises his role as Dexter Reed in the sequel, and Kel also played Pictionary in a skit with Jimmy.
