The EP’s lead single ‘Window Seat’ encompasses her gorgeous vocals and jazzy melodies, whilst exploring the headspace of a locked-down university student. The rest of the three songs on the EP give listeners a taste of Akerman’s talent like “Wandering in the City”, a ballad about a broken relationship and loneliness, “Ellie’s Song”, another ballad about loss and grieving, and “I fall” a haunting and dramatic song about unrequited love and the complexities of romantic relationships.
