“Icewood” is the first song on the EP. The rap starts as soon as the best drops. The song describes a character who is very focused on getting his money and not ready to play games at all(”I’m chasing money nigga”). He ends by telling his haters to continue chasing their tails while he does the hard work. The punch lines were hitting and the flow was perfect. This song was the perfect intro for the EP
Up next is “$>Fame”. Listeners are thrust into the popping beat and a crisp flow. The song talks about rags to riches and how he came from nothing and how he is now earning money doing what he loves and making a shit ton of money. The flow was smooth and the best was very catchy.
“Blockhot” is the next song on the record. The song opens with a hot beat. The song is about how a neighborhood where some illegal activities happen. Sometimes, the police target certain neighborhoods and sometimes arrest people. Black people say the block is hot which means the police are about to, is, or will raid a neighborhood for the fun of it. The song is catchy but the symbolism is what people will get attached to and really bang out with this song
The last song on the EP is called “Gettn $”. This song takes you into this amazing beat. The song illustrates a person who is focused on making money and when made up their mind he told those who hated him that when he was making money what were they doing? The rap is catchy and fun.
