PRIENCE MOORE’S “WHAT WOULD YOU DO” IS A MASTERPIECE THAT DETAILS EXPIRY DATES & EMOTIONAL TRUTHS

Based in the creative hub of Seattle, Prience Moore has a knack for blending raw emotional vulnerability with polished production. While “No You And Me” felt like a “meaningful masterpiece” of reflection, his new work “What Would You Do”, is sure to take listeners into a whole new world. The song was released on 14th February, let’s get into the details of the song

The “exciting beat” is the heartbeat of the song, and it immediately propels kinetic energy that commands your attention. But it is the background poetic recitation that lends the song its soul. The two are in a symbiotic relationship where the rhythm propels the listener forward and the poetry holds the emotional center.

In this song, Prience is essentially removing the “fairytale” lens and replacing it with a more realistic approach. He’s not being cynical by looking at the “expiry date,” he’s being observant. It’s the old duality; the higher the stakes, the higher the reward, but also the higher the risk of the fall. Prience Moore doesn’t treat love as an endpoint; he treats love as a gamble. “What Would You Do” captures the butterflies of new love while keeping one foot planted in the reality that every “hello” is followed by a “goodbye.” So, the song poses the listener two possible questions. The first one is, What would you do? Would you still dive into a relationship knowing the risk?, and secondly, if you dive in, What would you do to make the time you have count?

It’s not often that you hear of a production process where the lyricism is actually the one that determines the beat’s heartbeat, and not the other way around. The recording at Michael Miller Productions (Unlimitedtalents) obviously gave Prience the technical freedom to allow this “emotional resonance” to breathe. When a song is able to move the very person who inspired it to tears, you are not merely looking at a “track”, you are looking at a sonic artifact of a human experience.

All aspects of “What Would You Do” are of the highest quality. Starting from the cinematic production, through the “masterpiece” songwriting, Prience Moore has once again demonstrated that he is a voice for the soulful and the sincere. Welcome to Moore’s world, it is the perfect paradise for those who aren’t afraid of the truth and you all are cordially invited to enjoy this paradise.
