The album’s first song is called “Kiss Me in the Rain”. The song has a very cool intro that is filled with keyboard sounds and synth tones. The song describes a relationship that is filled with love. One character in the relationship describes how their love makes her feel alive like never before(“To be loved makes me feel like I’ll never die”). She talks about how she wants to be kissed in the rain by her partner (“kiss me in the rain”). The song is thumping and will let you feel like dancing or grabbing your partner to dance with you. The song is really the perfect opener to an amazing album
Next is the song “Roll with Me”. This song begins with a fusion of electric guitar and keyboard sounds before Denise begins a fabulous vocal performance. The character in the song expresses her feelings to her partner and is very sure that he feels the same way (”I feel safe when you are near and it’s clear you feel the same”). This character then tells her partner to just take the plunge into their relationship without asking for anyone’s opinion because life is short and hopes that he will stick with her( “life’s too short roll with me”). The song is not too slow or too fast-paced, it is just right and has the coolest vibe you’ll ever hear
“Don’t count yourself out yet” is the next song. The song has a short intro and Denise starts singing right away. In the song, we are introduced to a character who is encouraging her loved one that he or she can achieve anything with determination(”I can you hear you telling me you can do anything you set your mind to”). She also assures him that she is always a shoulder he can lean on and encourages him to never give up(”&remember I’m always here I can feel your hand on my shoulder to lean on you, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, don’t count yourself out yet”). The song advises listeners that whenever we are provoked we have to stop and think about our next move(”so when she pushes go, stop, stop”). The song also describes a character who is very loyal and supportive (” I’ll always be there when you fall”). Musically, the bass is very exciting and will enthrall thoroughly
“The Blues” is the title of the next song. The song opens with a very calm and relaxing melody as Denise sings about making sure that you don’t let feelings of sadness overwhelm you(” Don’t get too close to the blues”). Denise advises listeners that our pain or trauma does not define us because no matter what happens to us it might swallow us up and never let us escape, it also tells us that we will find a way to heal and become survivors not victims (”don’t let your heartache define you”). I applaud Denise for sharing this inspiring message of hope with us. The song is a lovely song that will captivate you with its many many charms

The song is passionate and tender and you are taken on is incredible musical journey
Next is the song “Underneath” This synth-pop song has a mesmerizing vibe right from the very start. The song introduces us to a persona who is addressing her ex telling him that she would have to find another way to cope since their relationship was her coping mechanism (” You had the nerve to walk away, I guess I’ll look for a new escape”). Later in the song, she admits that she is unable to cope with their break up and is down in the dumps and seeks release (” I’m underneath(3x), falling to my knees I’m underneath”). The song has traces of synth and soft rock influences that create a thrilling soundscape
The last song on the album is “Rainbow (Until Dawn remix”). This song has an upbeat and exciting intro. The character in the song has met someone who is showing her such a good time that she doesn’t want the night to end (”I wanna stay here all night”). After they spent some time together she asks him to join him on the other side which is a rainbow-filled place. This metaphor “rainbow” could either mean sex or a love-filled relationship (” won’t you let me show you the other side”).
