After the exhilaration of the chase, the vocabulary of images moves into liberation and electricity. In the widening of the frames to the exuberant collective of drag performers wearing large shoes and high fashion costumes, the desperate escape fades into high fashion defiance. The concrete tunnel/pavement is no longer an area of flight but is now hallowed ground where nobody looks back. What a piece of work! The film comes to its stunning climax with the help of a truly amazing power strut move, one which exudes absolute confidence. In the end, we are treated to an equally brilliant finale with a wonderful close-up shot of her beautiful legs as she runs towards freedom clad in those red high heels.
