The 33-year-old R&B singer attended the 13th annual Innovator Awards of WSJ Magazine on Wednesday at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, looking put together in a classic little black dress. She accessorised her long-sleeved black dress with a white collar and a dramatic red ribbon in her hair to offer a spark of colour. Black heels and fluffy white socks completed the ensemble.

The magazine named the “Kill Bill” chart-topper music pioneer of the year for her accomplishments to the business, including her 2022 album SOS’s ten non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 upon its premiere. The singer was one of the six honorees at the event.
