Issa Rae is back at it again, and she’s focusing on the booze business this time. The actor and producer recently celebrated the introduction of her own Viarae Prosecco line. She enjoys toasting both the significant and minor victories in life, which is the inspiration for the sparkling wine. Target and alcohol delivery services like Drizly, Instacart, and Shipt will carry it.

Rae and the California-based E. & J. Gallo Winery, which is well-known for owning reputable supermarket brands like Barefoot Bubbly and La Marca as well as higher-end labels, collaborated to create Viarae. Viarae is marketed as being a versatile treat that may be savoured at any time, according to the brand. Rae stated in an interview for her October cover story with Los Angeles Magazine that “Prosecco just felt less stuffy than Champagne, which I couldn’t afford at the time. Additionally, it had a feeling of approachable luxury, which is how I like to think I live.

Rae has included her passion for this effervescent type in her popular television show “Insecure.” And it has even undergone several transformations, such as the addition of a little Jameson to a dash of vodka to increase the shine. According to Los Angeles Magazine, “since then, she’s been known for keeping a glass close at hand both on screen and off to celebrate or just as background to some much-needed bonding time; she counts Sara The Wine Bar in Culver City as one of her favourite places to catch up with a friend over a glass.”

Rae acknowledges that she has used it as her go-to beverage to honour the milestones of her pals. “It’s just such a staple drink for me,” the source said. Rae claims that Viarae has a refreshing, lemony flavour that is more dry than sweet, giving off an air of summer. She emphasises, “It’s designed to have company. Even though she likes Prosecco on its own, she wholeheartedly recommends combining it with whisky, vodka, or her current favourite, tequila—a combination she calls “phenomenal.”
