The song opens with this throbbing pop sound that is very inviting to the ears, like a siren calling out to sailors. This music is a feel-good, powerful summer bop that examines the mixed emotions that the dating scene may provide. The character in this song is caught up in a similar situation. Her lover has her in this “he loves me, he loves me not” game, unknowing of the future of their relationship. He keeps her in this cat-and-mouse game. (“You got me living in a lie, caught up in this game “). Hopefully, the story doesn’t end up a tragedy, the character gets the courage to kick him out of her life, a sentiment we fully support
Dorman’s voice is like butter and silk. She sings effortlessly throughout the song and the instrumentation melody compliments her lovely voice. She delivers a wonderful performance you will not forget easily
This was a powerful song which gives you the courage to get out of your toxic relationship. We applaud Dorman for creating a narrative where this character takes back her life, a lesson that is very valuable. I love her music and her voice . She is a superstar and is going to champion and usher in a new era of music, something that characterizes her.
