On June 24th, 2022, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cara Doc of the north shore of Ireland releases her beautiful, blues-tinged debut single, “Parole.”
Cara Doc is a young and talented multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and musician from the northern coast of Northern Ireland. With her song “Parole,” she is making her Spotify debut. It’s the first time she has ever had a song released on a streaming service. Michael Mormecha, a renowned engineer and musician, and John Doherty, a legendary guitarist, worked together to record and co-produce her debut album.
A compilation of songs titled “Ode to the Oversoul” explores and questions spirituality as its central theme. “Parole,” Cara Doc’s debut single, is a fantastic tune with exquisite musical intricacy. It sounds really modern yet having a very retro and folky vibe.

A thorough discussion of the music. Acoustic guitar is introduced after a brief electric guitar riff with some tremolo effects. The beginning has a pleasant, rural vibe. The stunning vocals of Cara soon start; she has a really lovely voice tone and an incredible airy singing style. Drums and bass are used to fill in the song’s empty areas.
The panning and double-layered vocals, guitar tone, organ tone, percussion tone, and every other aspect of the song’s production are superb. The chorus and the melody that follows it are the song’s most entertaining elements. This brief section of the song demonstrates how talented Cara and the producers are by sounding so funky and bluesy.
