“Broadcast” is the first song from Serpent, their upcoming debut album. It immediately jumps out and whets the anticipation for what’s to follow on the rest of the CD, with David Nights’ old-school sounding hip-hop production paired with KJ’s furious rap flow and superb wordplay.
David Nights and KJ founded JASMINEGOLD, an alternative hip-hop duo from North Florida. Despite having only debuted last year, they have quickly gained popularity, with over 200,000 views on TikTok and a positive response on Spotify for their first two singles, “Crisis” and “Conscious.” With the release of their new single, “Broadcast,” they appear to be on track to keep the momentum going.
“This tune was produced with concerts and vehicle speakers in mind,” JASMINEGOLD says of the new release. “We wanted to create a song that you could listen to over and over again and still feel the same way you did the first time.”
