Onism E latest single “Lin Manuel” was released on the 26th of May, 2022 and it deals with a lot of emotions that came with the unfortunate 2020 pandemic.
“Lin Manuel” is an emotional rollercoaster guided by a hypnotic natural flow and progression from a dark sluggish opening to a harsher sound, especially when you get to the “…sometimes I want to scream” section, which I really felt!
“Lin Manuel” begins with a haunting funky bassline and a fading guitar tune. With Eline Chavez’ beautiful vocal delivery and guitarist Chris ‘Lefty’ Vargas’ iconic overdriven guitar tune and those licks he kept flinging everywhere until we reached that rocking solo, this song had me from the beginning. The combination between drummer Raj Arenas’ jazzy, lively playing and bassist Chris ‘CeeRod’ Rodriguez’s funky lines, which played a key role in the overall tone of the song, is flawless.

“Lin Manuel” will send you a flood of deep emotions with well-crafted, well-written tunes with no egotism, simply Onism. E has excellent song-writing abilities, which is what good music is all about. If you like it, you’ll become an immediate fan, just like I did, and you’ll want to keep an eye on them. I’m looking forward to hearing more.
