Parker Shogren Shares New Song Titled "Death Sentence"

For the release of his latest track, Death Sentence, American musician Parker Shogren has teamed up with Jason Wisdom of Death Therapy and Jed Brewer. The nu-metal / metalcore track is now available on all of your favourite streaming services.

Death Sentence, Parker Shogren’s most recent single, has received national rock radio airplay and features Gold Record rock producer Machine (Fall Out Boy, Lamb of God), guitar tone-god Phil Pluskota (Signs of the Swarm, Scumfuck), and metal vocal icon Jason Wisdom (Becoming the Archetype).

Parker Shogren is a vocalist, composer, and performer from Florida whose strong live shows have drew thousands of fans and garnered comparisons to Memphis May Fire and Asking Alexandria.

Parker Shogren, on the other hand, sees this as music with a purpose. “This song is about recognising that bad decisions don’t mean you’re going to die,” says Parker, who as a teacher understands the impact despondency can have on young people.
