Diwali, the festival of light and love, is celebrated with much fervour and enthusiasm in India and worldwide. People around the globe took part in the Diwali festivities on November 12, 2023, and celebrated it in their own unique way. While all of India was lit up with diyas, candles, and lamps to mark the occasion, a few Indian-origin international celebrities, too, made sure to show the world their way of commemorating the 2023 Diwali.
The comedian and YouTuber Lilly Singh, a Canadian with a sizable 14.5 million followers on the social media network, hosted one of the most talked-about parties. Lilly, the Canadian TV host-comedian, knows how to throw a good party, as seen by the one she organised in Los Angeles, California. She invited a few of Tinsel Town’s most recognisable names. Among the notable ones are Jay Sean, Richa Moorjani, Tesher, Jay Shetty, Tan France, Poorna Jagannathan, and Guru Randhawa.
Lilly Singh took to her official Instagram account on November 13, 2023, to share a few drop-dead gorgeous photos from her Diwali bash. The 35-year-old had donned a custom-made light peach-hued outfit consisting of a bejewelled blazer, dhoti pants, and a cape by Falguni Shane Peacock. She was all decked up in stunning pearl and diamond pieces of jewellery.
Every guest at Lilly Singh’s Love & Light Diwali event dressed in breathtaking traditional attire to honour the occasion. The video footage from the celebration saw attendees moving to the rhythms of Suit Suit, a song by Guru Randhawa, performed with guitarist Arjun in tow. While enjoying a gala at the party, everyone appeared to be fully immersed in the celebrations and in a good mood.
