Doctor Who returns with David Tennant as the new Doctor and Russell T. Davies, the showrunner and writer of the 2005 revival series, as a returning writer and showrunner with the new Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials, available only onDisney+. This comes two years after the conclusion of season 13 and the 2022 Specials
In the three-part special, Tennant plays the Fourteenth Doctor, who bears a striking similarity to the Tenth Doctor. He teams up with Catherine Tate’s Donna Noble for a brand-new science fiction adventure. Following the specials, Ncuti Gatwa will reprise her role as the Fifteenth Doctor in season 14 of the television series
Neil Patrick Harris, Jacqueline King, Karl Collins, Bernard Cribbins, Jemma Redgrave, Yasmin Finney, and other celebrities also appear in the anniversary specials. Disney+ is a streaming service that offers the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials for $7.99 a month with advertisements. You can, however, upgrade to an ad-free version for $13.99 a month or $139.99 a year.
